This feels too good to be true. Is this for real?

We joined IMPACT 5X to help diverse-owned businesses get access to resources they need. We’re lucky to have financial support from partners like JP Morgan Chase and GoDaddy, which allows us to make IMPACT 5X feel like a “too good to be true” value for participants. The program is legit, and we’re happy to provide details of how we do it.

That said, IMPACT 5X isn’t a passive program— the value comes from your active participation in SLAP and related programming.

Ok, I’m in. How do I get started?

The first step after you’re accepted into the program is to build your SLAP. You can do this on your own, or with a SLAP team member. If you have questions, you can always contact support@silverlininglimited.com.

Once your SLAP is completed, all of the program resources begin to kick in.

What is SLAP and why is it at the center of IMPACT 5X?

Silver Lining built SLAP (Silver Lining Action Plan) to help small business owners review sales and revenue, develop marketing methods, and gain accountability support from a SLAP team member. SLAP members also benefit from monthly calls with a small business expert from the SLAP community.

The platform features a sales dashboard, action tracking system, and automated financial goals tracker. IMPACT 5X events and other educational sessions are also available directly through the SLAP platform. For a preview of SLAP, reach out to kiki@amp.community.

What does my participation look like?

IMPACT 5X is a 12-month program, but the commitment is just two hours per month. During those two hours, SLAP members update their sales and actions, meet with SLAP team members, and use the “pause & reflect” to get focused each week.

You’ll also have a 30-minute monthly call with a SLAP team advocate and an hour-long monthly meeting with your designated SLAP expert. You can opt into other features for continued programming from SLAP and program partners, as well as networking events within the SLAP community.
